Principal

Atul has nearly 30 years of professional experience. Most recently, Atul was Vice President of Corporate Development of Barracuda Networks, which was acquired by KKR (NYSE: KKR). Previously, Atul was a Senior Director of Corporate Development at Fortinet (NASDAQ: FTNT), Managing Director at Centaur Partners, and a Vice President of Investment Banking at RBC Capital Markets. During Atul’s investment banking career, he focused on the software sector. Prior to RBC, Atul was a principal in the consulting group at Hewlett Packard and ran a 50-person team that delivered e-commerce solutions globally. Atul began his career working at several technology start-ups as a software engineer. Atul received his MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, a MSE in Computer Science & Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Engineering with a major in Electronics and Communication Networks, from Delhi College of Engineering. Atul also completed the strategic financial leadership program at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business. 

Outside of Structural Capital, Atul likes to spend time with his family. He enjoys playing squash, watching cricket, and reading about various topics in technology, investing, business, and macroeconomics.
